Jesús López, a professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the maritime security sector, is the visible head of this project.
With the beginning of the century, the first contact with the sector was made through the company TRIDENTE SL, distributor at that time of the Irish firm of life rafts RFD, as well as of the Danish doors of Thyboron and German blogs Ludolph. For 5 years, it was forged between shipowners in the port of Vigo and it had an in-depth knowledge of the world of life rafts leading to the management of the network of RFD review stations that at that time consisted of more than 20 stations located along the the Peninsula, Canary and Balearic Islands. The world of shipyards and shipbuilding went from being great strangers, to becoming their natural habitat where, over time, they forged great friendships and good business.
Once that stage was finished, he became part of the commercial team of VALIANT LDA., one of the leading companies in the RHIB manufacturing sector, where for 2 years he held the position of Sales Manager. This new experience led him to know a world that, although still related to the sea, behaved in a totally different way to the professional. The management of an extensive network of distributors, this time of nautical sports, and the increase in sales of both the SOLAS rescue boats and professionals for Official Organizations, and of the boats focused on recreational boating, would be the main objectives in this new stage.
At the height of the business came the call of the British multinational COSALT PLC
that disembarked in Spain in to grow into the professional sector at the same time as in leisure market. The project required a professional who had previous experience in both sectors and this is how the third stage in the professional life of Jesús López started. By that time everybody in the sector already knew him as 'Suso'.
The company was growing constantly and only three years after its implementation in Spain, it was acquired by SURVITEC GROUP LTD. the largest group in the world in terms of maritime safety. Again destiny joined Suso with RFD and its network of service stations, only this time instead of managing them from a distribution point of view, it would be from the manufacturer perspective.
After 10 years and due to the merger that takes place between Survitec and Wilhelmsen, the company decides to resolve the contract with the services of this professional which, far from being a step back, he decided to lead the fourth project of its career, this time a with its own brand, JLSURVIVAL, and with the support of two of the most reputable companies in their sectors such as OCEAN SAFETY LTD.
and VANGUARD MARINE LDA., which he will represent throughout the national territory to maximize sales in both, professional and leisure market, relying on the knowledge and experience accumulated over all these years. Only a couple of months after the project started, a third one,ACR ELECTRONICS INC.trusted Mr. Lopez capability, to drive their sales in Spain through Ocean Safety Ltd.
