Ocean Safety specialise in the worldwide supply, distribution, service & hire of marine safety equipment including liferafts, lifejackets, pyrotechnics, man overboard equipment & EPIRBs. The company has grown rapidly and today boasts a diverse range of customers including ship and superyacht builders, round the world racing, cruising yachts and the MOD.
Representing some of the World's leading manufacturers, Ocean Safety offer branded and own manufacture products including the Jonbuoy Man Overboard recovery range, liferafts, lifejackets, fire equipment, EPIRBs and SARTs. Other manufacturers include Kru Lifejackets, Ocean Signal, Aquaspec, Hansson Pyrotechnics, ICOM VHF Units, KIM harnesses and lifesaving equipment.
High levels of stock are maintained at Southampton, Glasgow and Plymouth as well as a vast network of commercial and leisure dealers to support a fast and efficient service.
Ocean Safety Ltd. has been an official supplier of the races including the Clipper Round the World Race, and the Volvo Ocean Race, providing safety kit supply and servicing for each crew member. They are also providing with training, ensuring the crew fully understand how their kit works.
The training department regularly hold courses & talks at their branches and at other locations worldwide. Each course is tailored to suit the specific audience, whether it's a family that enjoy cruising at the weekends, round the world racing crew or professional charter companies and skippers.
